"Ferry delights "
We weren't particularly looking forward to our overnight ferry to Dublin however right from when we checked in the port (and were upgraded to a cabin)we were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The staff were all friendly & helpful, the cabins very clean & comfortable and the food that was served(all free!) was absolutely delicious. We have recommended P&O ferries to friends & family and will definately be taking this trip again.. so much more relaxing than flying.!!!

"Excellent "
Couldn't of asked for a better crossing there and back to and from Ireland. Polite staff, excellent food, quickness on and off and port staff all excellent not one bad thing. Will book cabins next time though even though lounge seating was comfy.

"A very positive experience."
We boarded in Liverpool on the Norbay at 9:30AM on a Tuesday morning. The boarding procedures went very smoothly and shortly afterwards we enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast. There were few people on board and the sailing was very quiet. We could have taken a cabin for a reasonable price but opted not to and stayed in the salon reading and watching TV. About 45 minutes before our arrival in Dublin we had a buffet dinner which was very enjoyable. The total crossing time was about 8 hours. It took quite a while to get off the ferry (almost one hour) and that was the only criticism I'd have. Overall, I very positive experience that I'd like to do again.

"Liverpool-Dublin"
Overall our experience as good however one major minus point is that although you say the ferry goes from "Liverpool Docks" this is not so, actually the sailing is from Bootle and you gave no postcode in your confirmation so we had to phone to find out where we should go to check in. Fortunately we had allowed enough time for error and were not late. Plus point - 'free' meals.

"My trip to Ireland "
Just to say that we travelled with direct ferries it was a good crossing, the cabin was extremely clean, but sorry to say that l didn't enjoy the food, because it was like warm, and we was 3rd in queue and they had only just brought it out and opened up, that was also on the way back to. Also l found that some off the staff wasn't very helpful full and that they lacked customer service.

"Perfect"
We take the ferry regularly to visit home in Ireland as we prefer to have the car with us. Plus when we rang to add our pets on our recent trip the customer service agent was very kind and helpful. We booked a cabin on board coming back. It was basic but clean and functional. To date we have always experienced good friendly staff and good journeys each time. We will definitely continue to use the liverpool to dublin p&o ferry for value for money and good experiences while travelling.

"Lovely staff and very nice crossing"
We enjoyed travelling with P&O because the boat was small but there was plenty of room and the cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the complimentary food too. Staff were lovely. We were served on the return journey at breakfast by a great steward who made us laugh and was so nice. Very family-friendly. Only gripe was no WiFi and only 2-pin sockets!

"Begin your Journey to Ireland."
Direct Ferries with P&O is definately the best and cheapest way to cross to Ireland. I have been travelling to Ireland for 30+ years, I used to take the Holyhead route but now use the Liverpool to Dublin route and arrive fully refreshed to begin my drive across to the west of Ireland,Carrick on Shannon for my fishing, friends and of course Guinness !! I would recommend DF to anyone, the price is good the food is good(included in the price by the way) comfortable and friendly service all adds to your trip or holiday to Ireland. I will use DF/P&O every time I travel, Thanks and see you again soon, Alan Payne Northamptonshire,

"Friendly, helpful and comfortable"
The staff on both the crossings on the Norbay and European Endeavour were very helpful, friendly and always actively seeking to help. The boats themselves were very comfortable, spacious to walk around on and the quality of cabin was also a very high standard Highly recommend for the low price offered.
