  • "Very good"

This is the second time that I have used in my trips to the Emerald Isle. The ship I originally booked was replaced and thus I was upgraded to a cabin - thank you very much! The crossings were smooth but we were an hour late each direction. Customer service was fab. I will be using P&O again.

  • "liverpool/Dublin"

I use the Liverpool/Dublin ferries approximately 6-8 times a year. I have found Direct ferries to be very simple and quick to use when booking online and will continue to use them in the future, great service.

  • "Grand!"

Very pleasant surprise. 3am crossing was quiet and hassle-free with lots of space to relax and sleep on board a modern and comfortable vessel. Food was of the greasy spoon variety but it was free and plentiful, including unlimited tea and coffee throughout the crossing. Similar on the 3pm return trip with Sky footer on in the bar.

  • "Road Trip"

On our recent road tour if Ireland, we sailed from Liverpool to Dublin on P&O Irish Sea ferries. The vessel was not fully loaded by any means, which meant we could sit, wander, lie down wherever we wanted. The food was adequate and of a standard above what I had expected for a car ferry. Tea & coffee facilities were available for the whole journey. As the outbound journey was overnight, we had the use of reclining chairs on the upper deck, but as I am 6' 2", the leg-room wasn't to my liking. We decided, like many others just to lie down on the lounge area sofa's. Pillows and blankets were provided on request. So apart from some snoring, we managed to get some sleep. There were cabins available (at additional charge) if privacy was preferred. Overall, not unpleasant experience, better than trips from my memories as a youngster, in the 1970's. Would recommend without a problem.
