"Ferry from Stockholm to Tallin"
Thankyou for allowing me to review the crossing, I have already sent Direct Ferries an email requesting compensation of £40 because I was allocated a 2 bed cabin and not a 4 bed that I ordered and paid £40 extra for. I discussed it with information and they gave me a copy of their offer to Direct Ferries indicating a 2 bed, I was also advised that the ferry bookings were full and no 4 berths available. Apart from that all was good on the ferry, staff were great and the restraunt although expensive provided us with the best ribeye steak I have ever experienced. great sailing and well on time. please respond regarding room Regards Neil

"Amazing trip!"
We took the ferry leaving Tallinn at 6pm and arriving in Stockholm 10:15am. It was absolutely fantastic and far better than we could have hoped. We had upgraded to a double cabin which, as it turned out, also included breakfast in the restaurant. We had a cabin facing out of the front of the ship. We left Tallinn to sailing into the sunset. The view was incredible. Dinner in the restaurant not cheap but worth the price and by reserving a table we could eat when we wanted and didn't have to queue in the self serve. The duty free shop had the cheapest gin we've seen for years about £8 for a litre of Gordon's, £13 for a litre of Bombay Sapphire! I woke at 6:30 after a very comfortable smooth nights sleep. We were just arriving on the edge of the archipelago as the boats weave their way between the is;lands into Stockholm. It was 4 hours of beautiful scenery and a fantastic sunny day. We were lucky with the weather but this is a brilliant journey I would recommend to everybody

"A great way to travel between Sweden and Estonia"
My first time taking the overnight ship from Stockholm to Tallinn and it was brilliant. With a fantastic deluxe room at the front of the ship, it departed and arrived at the exact scheduled times, with helpful staff available at all times. Highly recommend!

"Tallin-Stokholm"
Enjoyable mini cruise trip. Orders during boarding and landing for people and vehicles (we should learn from them because in Italy is always a caos...) Clean and comfortable cabins for all the different classes even the internal. Restaurants, self service and cofè shops are good!!! Nice ship! Nothing to say. Really clean even the outside decks.

"A wonderful crossing"
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the Romantika. We felt that we were on a luxury cruise ship the minute we boarded. The entertainment, the food options and our cabin were fabulous. Check in was easy too. We highly recommend this way of travelling.

"Why change to cruise?"
This route is perfect for us. I can rest after 800 km driving to Stockholm from Skellefteå and then be fit for driving 500 km from Riga to Vibetsk in Belarus. The return trip got changed though so we had to drive the extra miles to Tallin instead of Riga. The ferry company changed it because this route will only be operated as a cruise. Will this be permanent? I would like to be able to go on this route again. Kind regards Sven Olov Lund

"Smooth sailing!"
Excellent service from start to finish. Check in fast and efficient, great facilities on the boat. The cabin was more than adequate and clean. The only negative was the restaurants were very pricey for us Brits, but probably normal for the Scandinavian markets that they mostly serve.

"my 2 crossings Tallin : Stockholm Riga and back"
The first crossing between Stockholm and Riga was difficult: during check-in, the hostess asked me if I knew that it was a special "cruise". I didn't, so she explained that it was a "young people" cruise and that consequently there will be some noise, some music and some ambiance! And indeed it was a "release" party which seems to be organised twice a year for young people who get drunk, crazy and obscene. There was a racket all night long with music and residues of alcohol. Although the few people who were around my age hid in the cabin, it was impossible to sleep and it was safer to stay inside. I filed a complain the next day and they understood and said that there had probably been a misunderstanding at the time of my booking, because I was not informed about that special situation. In conclusion: check that it's a regular cruise and not a young people cruise, unless you are a young people yourself and youi don't mind the noise, the smell of alcohol and the exuberant attirude.

"Trip to from Riga to Stockholm and back"
This two-way trip aboard the ferry Romantica was a part of a wedding gift to my lovely wife and myself, and has exceeded our expecttation to a great extent. We occupied De Luxe class rooms, President and Ambassador respectively, and these accomodations were above and beyond the call, in my opinion. Very comfy, and the volume of noise is very low as compared to normal cabins. The ship was clean, neat and tidy, the staff was frendly, the food was delicious. The only two setbacks were the animators team (some kind of a brazilian carnival style music), which irritated us to some extent, and the renovations of carpets done on our deck that hampered our movement somewhat. Other than that, a great ride, all around! Alexei

"Good to travel"
I was coming back from a week long trip and I must admit that the thing I was really disappointed with was the lack of seats outside the restaurants. Everything is good otherwise. The staff answers customers queries with a smile and there had never been a problem with my booking through directferries -it's my 5th trip. I recommend it, it's a good and reliable company.

"Really nice trip"
Yes, that was really a nice trip though we actually missed our ferry to Riga but we had our tickets re-booked to Stockholm-Tallinn route in a blink. Thanks to the clerk at the terminal. We even got a better cabin than we had counted on. We definitely enjoyed our voyage, thanks to all the staff on board. The only remark could be - why don't you play on a reminder on the ferry radio about changing the time on people's watches? The thing is that is the second time we've missed our breakfast because of the confusion with the local time.

"Comfortable journey!"
We ordered 4-berth inside cabin. The cabin was fine. The food on board was also good, as well as the sercice. It was a pleasant and nice experience both on the outbound and return journey. Nice, un-complicated show. Someting for everyone. The ferry we had on return journey was better than "Romantika" on the outbound. BR Fam Hagen

"Pleasant but un-entertaining stay in deluxe cabin"
Booked a deluxe cabin only because the lower fares were sold out by the time we booked, however were pleased with what we got - a cabin that made good use of the space, included all the essentials (closet, desk, couch, double bed, bathroom with shower)and a front view window. We received complimentary fruit and beverages (sparkling wine, beer, soda, water). Also included was a breakfast buffet that included a large variety of options, was pleased with food selection. Public areas of ship interior are in good condition, seating, decks, wall fixtures, etc. with central wifi area. My only real complaint was there isn't much to do, ok selection of restaurants though the foods themselves not varied, and just bar and nightclub-like entertainment for the night. Shopping is ok. Thought a small movie-theatre or something might have made it better.
