NLG, or Navigazione Libera del Golfo, has operated ferry crossings for more than 80 years and now has a route network covering the islands in the Gulf of Napoli, Tremeti Islands, Pontine Islands and the Amalfi Coast.

Run by the Aponte family, whose origins in the maritime industry date back to the 17th century, NLG has completely modernised its fleet over the years which now features modern and highly efficient water-jet-propelled vessels. At present, the fleet is composed of 10 hydro-propelled jets and 2 DSC Catamarans, with the ship named Picasso acquired in 2007.

A perfect mix of the traditional and modern, the high level of service provided by the on-board staff is a trademark of NLG which of course helps to make them a popular company amongst their passengers.
