  • "Smoothe Sailing!"

We took the ferry round trip after staying in Sardinia a few weeks. Both rides were surprisingly comfortable. We enjoyed a sound sleep on the couches provided. The ferries are clean and the staff very friend,y and accommodating. Would highly recommend this affordable means of transport.

  • "Comfortable travelling"

We recently travelled overnight with Tirrenia Ferries from Civitavecchia to Cagliari as foot passengers. The Ferry was clean and comfortable, we booked a cabin and our ticket included evening buffet meal and breakfast (food basic but adequate) The staff on board were extremely helpful and although they did not speak much English we managed perfectly well. We would certainly recommend the ferry crossing, it is a much cheaper way of travelling between mainland Italy and Sardinia and fun! From Rome it was a 30 minute train journey and 10 minutes on a bus, pick up right outside the train station, to the port, couldn't have been easier.

  • "Excellent way to get from mainland to Sardinia"

We enjoyed our experience on the Dimonios, it got us comfortably from Naples to Cagliari on the overnight crossing. We paid extra for a cabin with a window, it had two beds and a little bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink- definitely worth the extra as we were much more comfortable (I usually suffer from sea sickness but with a pill and a lie down in the cabin I was absolutely fine!). We ate in the restaurant and thought the food was good quality and reasonably priced. All in all it was an excellent way to travel to Sardinia and we also saved on internal flights and one night's hotel accommodation, bonus!
