"Europe Bound"
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was like taking a short day cruise. From when we arrived to when we departed we were treated well. We had the buffet package and the meal was wonderful. We also took the upgrade commodore and the room was very comfortable. Enjoyedlistening to music playing throughout the decks.

"Excellent"
We use the Ferry at least 2 times a year and usually have a good experience. This time was no different, apart from next door having a small child (obviously teething) crying off and on most of the night. Otherwise out trip was good.

"Return to the Past"
Travelling to the U.K. on my way to Northern Ireland to visit for the first time since 1982 this was the perfect start to my journey. Commodore DeLuxe is definitely the only way to travel. The tray of coffee and pastries was a very nice touch waiting in my room. The complimentary breakfast certainly seals the deal and the overnight sailing experience is the best way to travel.

"Great Route For Caravans"
As we live local to North Shields, this is a great route to get us, our car and caravan to Europe. The ships are always clean and facilities excellent. We are even happy with the inside cabins as, to us, they feel more spacious than the outside cabins. on our most recent return we were given a 4 berth cabin on Deck 11 instead of the 2 berth. We have used both King and Princess several times and will continue to do so.

"Very enjoyable"
My trip was most enjoyable both going & returning to my holiday destinations. The buffet dinners were very good & the service was excellent as it also was for my breakfasts. The cabins were clean, warm & comfortable. The cabaret in the evenings were good with a little quiz & a game of bingo also on the return journey. I had no complaints at all & as this was my first time I would certainly use this ferry again. So relaxing too for the start of our hols.

"Comfortable and pleasant experience"
DFDS seaway ships have comfortable cabins with pleasant lighting and comfortable beds. The choice of food in the restaurants was also good as well as the overall journey. There were no hiccups in a late check-in on our onward journey from Amsterdam to Newcastle and the cruises are very punctual on arrival. Overall, worth the experience and the value. Would recommend, especially if you want to avoid a long drive up the UK motorways.

"Our review"
Liked - Ferries were punctual. Loading crew very professional. Cabins clean and comfortable with a good shower. The ship's layout were good and well sign posted. Disliked - Every thing on board was rather expensive. Staff on board hard to communicate with (language) and some could not be bothered. Having to pay an extra 10 Euros to use the wi-fi.This really irritated me. On the whole I would use DFDS again as the pros out weigh the cons.

"And enjoyable crossing"
My wife and I enjoyed the crossing to Newcastle very much, and were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of our berth. We both had a good time aboard and slept very well.

"Excellent trip !"
Travelled Newcastle - Amsterdam and thought it was a very good experience without a single hitch (in both directions). Very clean ship & excellent staff. Prices were a little steep but well worth it for the quality of the food & efficiency of the staff. Don't have any complaints at all & would definitely use this company / route again to get to mainland Europe.

"Smooth crossing"
We had a 4 Berth outside cabin for two of us which was fine but I wouldn't like to see a family of four sharing this extremely compact space. We ate in the a la carte restaurant which was first class. However the layout of the ship is not easy for anyone with mobility problems as you continually have to go to deck 6 to access the public areas and our cabin was the opposite side of the ship to where we were parked so again had to go up 2 floors cross over on deck 6 and back down two floors.

"Great crossing"
Great ferry crossings between Amsterdam and Newcastle. Clean and roomy cabin. Food on board good - a bit pricey perhaps. Left and arrived on time.

"Good service"
Took the motorhome across more than happy with the price and service. Only inconvenience was the cabin on the return journey was on deck 4 . It was the noisiest shaky roon i have ever been in. Got no sleep at all . Had to go up a few decks and rest on the seats in the hallway. The outward & inward journeys were on the Princess. Price for the crossing was very reasonable.

"Good trip"
The ship is so big and cute! Good experience on the deck. The big ship is so stable that you wouldn't feel seasick at all. You can find pub, cinema and casino on cruises. But wifi could only be found on deck 8. Anyway, I would prefer to choose ferry to travel at next time and recommend it to friends!
