"Excellent"
We use the Ferry at least 2 times a year and usually have a good experience. This time was no different, apart from next door having a small child (obviously teething) crying off and on most of the night. Otherwise out trip was good.

"Nearly there"
I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the standard of entertainment, cleanliness and, particularly, the catering. My only minor grumble is the lack of 'technology' in the cabin, notably wi-fi or television although I know these can be difficult to provide while at sea there appeared to be no hotspot anywhere on-board despite the (locked) "wi-fi lounge". A very small negative on a very positive overall experience. I would be delighted to sail with DFDS again and happily recommend them to others.

"Great Route For Caravans"
As we live local to North Shields, this is a great route to get us, our car and caravan to Europe. The ships are always clean and facilities excellent. We are even happy with the inside cabins as, to us, they feel more spacious than the outside cabins. on our most recent return we were given a 4 berth cabin on Deck 11 instead of the 2 berth. We have used both King and Princess several times and will continue to do so.

"Very enjoyable"
My trip was most enjoyable both going & returning to my holiday destinations. The buffet dinners were very good & the service was excellent as it also was for my breakfasts. The cabins were clean, warm & comfortable. The cabaret in the evenings were good with a little quiz & a game of bingo also on the return journey. I had no complaints at all & as this was my first time I would certainly use this ferry again. So relaxing too for the start of our hols.

"Comfortable and pleasant experience"
DFDS seaway ships have comfortable cabins with pleasant lighting and comfortable beds. The choice of food in the restaurants was also good as well as the overall journey. There were no hiccups in a late check-in on our onward journey from Amsterdam to Newcastle and the cruises are very punctual on arrival. Overall, worth the experience and the value. Would recommend, especially if you want to avoid a long drive up the UK motorways.

"Our review"
Liked - Ferries were punctual. Loading crew very professional. Cabins clean and comfortable with a good shower. The ship's layout were good and well sign posted. Disliked - Every thing on board was rather expensive. Staff on board hard to communicate with (language) and some could not be bothered. Having to pay an extra 10 Euros to use the wi-fi.This really irritated me. On the whole I would use DFDS again as the pros out weigh the cons.

"enjoyable begin and end of summer holidays"
The way to travel by ferry, keeping your own car, not having stress at an airport, is much better, and we enjoy including the trip into the holiday programme, with a nice meal and a relaxing trip to the bar and a good night's sleep (usually, if no noisy parties are next door). So far, we have been quite lucky. Nice end of the holiday too.

"Nice ship. Nice staff."
We went and took the boat as we wished travel through Europe with our car. Boarding and leaving the boat was easy. The staff are kind and are willing to help. Facilities are nearly endless. Food is good, downside side is that you need to book you time and tables to eat. So it makes you feel like you part of a school canteen group. The prices are far far too expensive, I personally wouldn't be paying the prices for what you get again.

"Great time"
This really lived up to expectations, even though it rained in Amsterdam it didn't seem to matter. we took the coach provided from Imjuiden and arranged our own walking tour, visit to Rembrant haus museum (fabulous) then a nice lunch and it was time to rejoin the transfer coach. Cant think of better way to see Amsterdam. we have done seeral of these trips and take in different site seeing visits. You could of course opt to stay over for a few days but we like repeating the ferry experience. So manu interesting people, fabulous food, helpful courteous staff and good entertainment in the columbus bar. Thanks guys for yet another great trip

"Very comfortable crossing"
Our crossing on the King Seaways was very comfortable in a Commodore cabin. Attentive stewards were also helpful. We did not eat in a restaurant in the evening having found this very poor value for money on previous occasions but the breakfast served in our cabin in the morning was much more than we had expected with cheese meat and a boiled egg each, as well as bread, croissant fruit and yogurt.

"Really pleasant trip"
I used this ship 6 days ago travelling from Newcastle to Amsterdam. We got our cabin immediately and got the chance to spend some quality time on board. We tried the buffet restaurant and although the price of €35 per person sounds high it is fairly reasonable compared to other companies that you pay the same money for a salad and a main course. Great variety of food overall. Also, for the size of the ferry and the length of the trip having 3 restaurants, 3-4 bars and a cinema is more than enough. The fare price is also really good. For the same length of trip, same car and same type of cabin we paid double price from Ancona Italy to Patras Greece 3 days later. Overall great experience that I would highly recommend to everyone even for a quick weekend to Amsterdam.
