"Five stars for Blue Star ferries"
We are annual travelers to the Greek Island of Syros and have always relied on Blue Star for our travel and connections. They are just what is needed, efficient, timely and ideal for the 4 hour sailing. It always gets the adventure off to a great start and reasonably priced as they are we will continue to use the service for the foreseeable future.

"The grand way is the best"
I love travelling in the grand old style of the Greek ferry. To me, Blue Star is the most recognisable. It may take longer than the current Sea Jets etc, but you really feel in touch with the sea and you can witness the individual island port arrivals and departures. It is also much cheaper than the Sea Jets.Going to Donoussa I travelled at night and so reserved seats which were very comfortable. Returning, we travelled during the day and so sat outside. Facilities were good and the toilet facilities were very clean. This is the second time I've travelled Blue Star and if time is not an issue then this is my preferred method of travel between the Islands. It won't be the last.

"Blue Star Business class"
My husband and I have been on Blue Star ferries before. But 10 years have passed and we now have a 4 year old. I decided to book business class for our return trip from Naxos to Pireaus. It was a 5 hour trip. And it was an extra 10 euros for each of us. I'm glad we did as it was spacious and had terrific views as you are facing the front of the ship. The negatives for me were that some people I saw hogging whole sofas to themselves . The atmosphere was a bit stale. It was still very crowded in there but not as bad as the rest of the ship . If you are going to be on this boat for 5 hours then go for it. Otherwise do economy. Much more vibrant. The ferries themselves are lovely as usual.

"Going to Paros"
We travel every year from Scotland to Paros. On the way across we find its good to take a cabin if youte2on the early boat, you can board and then climb back into bed. Cabins are immaculate, staff are wonderful and show you to your room. This also gives you access to the lounge so no scrambling for a seat. Great service all in!

"Quick, cheap way to island-hop"
My partner and I used Direct Ferries three times to hop between Mykonos, Syros and Tinos in a week. Great service, ferries much better standard than expected and apart from one 10-minute delay, all on time. Paid 65 euros all in.

"Wonderful Experience!"
My family travelled between Piraeus and Mykonos with Blue Star Ferries in a Cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip with all required facilities in the Cabin. Moreover, my daughter (who is highly sensitive to motion) had a pleasant trip and enjoyed the experience. Excellent Service!

"Pireau - Paros - Pireau August 2015"
The journey was excellent and the ship amazing.... Only flaw... Reserved seats booking: on board we discovered that to have the seat assign we had to pay €5 more. We refused because we alrady paid a lot. I will suggest to indicate on your website this.
