Wasaline
Wasaline is a Finnish ferry company linking Vaasa, on the west coast of Finland, with Umea in Sweden, providing regular sailings across the Gulf of Bothnia.
A popular ferry route, the majority of Wasaline passengers sail between the two cities for the excellent shopping opportunities. Moreover, as a four hour crossing, it represents an affordable, reliable and relatively quick way of hopping between the Scandinavian nations, especially if driving.
Once aboard Wasa Express, you can sample excellent Nordic cuisine in three different restaurants, while gazing out to the glorious Kvarken archipelago. In terms of capacity, it can hold eight hundred and fifty passengers, while the two vehicle decks are capable of transporting four hundred and fifty cars and sixty five trucks. The ship has been in operation since 2013, so the on-board amenities easily meet the standards required by the modern day traveller: a well-stocked shop, sixty luxurious cabins fitted with their own toilet and shower, and various conference rooms accommodating up to one hundred and twenty people.

The chairs were comfortable but they were too few. Why not offer cheaper price on the cabin as they could have been used. Power outlet when you sit and eat I would be appreciated so i can charge my phone.

We think its a good idea to have the lunch on the boat, even though it left at 8 in the morning. Best option is archipelago lunch because it started quite early in the morning. We thought everything was fine in general onboard.

To go by Wasa Line is convenient for me, a quick movement from Vaasa to Umeå with the car on board. Good food and friendly staff made the trip enjoyable. I could rest and relax before continuing the journey on the other side.
