Tangier is a port city located in the Northern coast of Morocco.
The port is in the heart of the city and just a few minutes from the amazing ancient medina of Tangier.
Tangier is not the main port in the area and most ferry companies moved their crossings to the newer port of Tangier Med when it opened some years ago.
Tangier port does however still offer daily connections with Spain across the Strait of Gibraltar.
The Cafe Hafa in Tangier is a fantastic place to enjoy see views. From the terrace you can even see the Spanish coast when the weather is nice. The mint tea is worth a try!
