Africa Morocco Link, or AML, offers regular ferry crossings every day between the port of Tanger Med on the northern tip of Morocco and the city of Algeciras in southern Spain.
Having embarked on the inaugural crossing in June 2016, AML strives to provide an affordable and reliable ferry service for both passengers and vehicles, with up to 8 sailings on offer per day.
The company was formed after the bank of BMCE and the Greek shipping group of Attica came together, hence the name of the ferry, Diagoras. The vessel can carry nearly 1,500 passengers, 400 cars and can travel at speeds of 21.5 knots, ensuring a fast and comfortable journey across the Strait of Gibraltar.
Diagoras also boasts a modern interior with 131 luxurious cabins to choose from and, for entertainment, you can enjoy a wide selection of shops offering everything from perfumes to essential travel items. For when you get hungry, head over to the restaurant or one of the many bars serving a variety of hot and cold refreshments.
With directferries.co.uk you can find AML timetables, fares and book AML ferry tickets. Where applicable we’ll also compare AML with alternative ferry companies.
