45 minutes delay notified by text. And at the end was a delay of more than one hour that caused us problems at the arrival in Santorini. (h.00:30 instead of h.22:30). Plus the reserved seat it was occupied by other people and the staff did not want to move them because others seats were free. So we had to travel in a differt place and it was too close to the conditioner, and it was really cold and annoying.

The centre of Piraeus is generally congested with traffic and tends not to be place where tourists would go. The area has many of the facilities you would expect of a non-tourist town: banks, public buildings, pedestrian areas, shopping streets and the like. The area around Zea Marina and Mikrolimano Harbour are perhaps the most attractive part of Piraeus and have a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars.
Piraeus is Greece's main port and the largest in Europe and the third largest in the world. Unsurprisingly, it is the hub of Greece's maritime industries and the base for its merchant navy. Having recently undergone a refurbishment, facilities at the port have improved and include ATM's, bureau de change, restaurants, cafes, bars and a number of travel agencies selling ferry tickets. destinations served by the port include the island of Crete, the Cyclades Islands, the Dodecanese Islands, the eastern parts of Greece and parts of the northern and eastern Aegean Sea.
The Greek island of Ios is part of the Cyclades group of islands and lies in the Aegean Sea between the islands of Santorini and Naxos. The island has a popular night economy, lovely beaches and a number of historical monuments which are popular with visitors. The island has been popular with tourists from around the world for many years and is definitely one of the most popular of the Cyclades islands. Chora is a typical Greek village on the island with traditional whitewashed buildings, winding streets and many colourful flowers. However, at night the sleepy village comes alive with many places to socialise.
Around the island there are many beaches with soft white sand just waiting to be explored, all of which are blessed with crystal clear waters. Perhaps the island's most popular beach is Mylopotas which is lined with bars, restaurants and places to hire water sport related equipment, and is over 1 km long. However, if you require a more secluded beach experience then Valmas or Kolitsani beaches are a good choice.
