"Moby Lines"
organised and prompt. Early arrivals can now jump an early ferry at no extra charge. Do try the coffee, it is some of the best that we had in Italy.

"My crossing with the car to the isle of Elbe"
A very good journey, the online booking was very practical, but the collection of the ticket was not, because the indicated ticket office was closed (7am). We had to park the car and walk to another ticket office where we were given our tickets. We didn't have this problem for the inbound journey though. See you.

"Every thing ok"
I travelled with Moby lines both ways on a journey from Piombino to Portoferraio, everything was fine, they were punctual and reliable.

"Too expensive but practical"
It's an easy and customer friendly ferry, but expensive. If you're early and there's space you're allowed to board even though you have a reservation. Also the way back (we left 2 days early) no problem. But it's expensive. The third ferry company is half the price. Only this one doesn't go every hour, but only 3 times a day. Worth considering.

"Experience with Ferry Moby Lines to and from Elba."
Tickets purchased online far in advance. We were early to arrive at the ferry. Picke up the tickets and asked for gate number. This did not go well and had to go elsewhere, but due to this we boarded two hours earlier. Nobody said anything. The journey went well. Return journey was with the same ticket, so no need to check in again. It wasn't busy so we cheked in 45 minutes before departure. We quickly boarded after about 30 minutes and crossed within an hour.
