"my trip"
big, clean and tidy ship. For this long crossing, the reserved seat is not the best accomodation but it's comfy. Frindly and nice the staff. Restaurant really expensive compared to the quality.

General was good for the ship of crossing. overall condition of the ship quite bad. THis ferry-line is not punctual in generel. the only thing that could move me to a recent book is the relatively cheap price.

We enjoyed our trip very much. The cabin was excellent, in good condition and clean. The ship also is generally in very good shape and seems well-kept. That said, a minor thing: the pools were all 'out of order' during our trip. The staff said that 'Work is being done on them,' though to us, it looked as if they were simply closed as no one was doing anything with them. The main critique we have is regarding the lack of information on board. For instance, our arrival time in Genoa was early [as far as we understood from the planned arrival time when we bought the tickets], but we only learned of the arrival time a short time before we were required to be out of our cabin. So we were very rushed to pack and leave our cabin, but only because of the lack of information. The crew could easily have informed us when they showed us our cabin, or at another time. There were numerous other instances like this. We had to ask about most things on the ship as so little was made clear.

La Suprema is a nice clean ship. I travelled as a single woman and felt at ease. The rooms are large and comfortable, staff helpful, they speak few languages outside Italian. We was four hours late leaving, after a long wait in Tunis, but we made time up well and was barely half an hour late arriving in Genoa. On and off the ship was a very smooth process.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Carthage, perhaps one of the most important archaeological sites ever found, is located around 12 km from Tunis. Many artefacts and the site of the ancient city have been unearthed including early Punic artefacts and Roman, Byzantine and Vandal buildings. The city has an eclectic mix of architectural styles, wide streets and narrow alleyways that are sometimes criss-crossed by tramways.
Although the old stone walls of the 9th century Medina no longer exist but the narrow streets, mosques, souks and historic structures remain and have also been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are a number of festivals held in the city each year the largest being the Carthage International Festival which takes place during July and August. The festival, which was established in 1964, attracts visitors from around the world and much of it is held in the old amphitheatre of Carthage and hosts performances by singers, musicians, actors, dancers and shows films on outdoor screens.
The port city of Genoa is located in the Liguria region of Italy and lies on the Mediterranean Sea coast. Genoa's historic centre is a maze of narrow alleys that open up onto small squares and is where visitors can't fail to appreciate the history and culture that embodies the city. Architecturally there are many different styles sitting side by side with a medieval wall acting as a base for a 14th century building on Gothic loggias. Genoa really is a place where the past literally forms the foundations of the present.
The city's old port, redesigned by Renzo Piano in 1992, is a popular draw for tourists who go there to take in all the sites the old port area has to offer. A popular site located close to the pier is the city's lighthouse where lovely views of Genoa and its Gulf can be had.
Genoa's ferry terminal is located in the Calata Chiappella and ferries depart towards Sardinia, Sicily, Corsica, Spain, Tunisia and Morocco. The terminal building has all of the usual passenger facilities and is also wheelchair friendly.
