Good service I would recommend them again

I booked a ticket and by some reason the return date was wrong. I called them ( the waiting time is really long) and they sorted my problem without too many questions

Very good customer service

I rang up yesterday after I made a mistake on my booking, booked 2 passengers and forgot to book the car. Spoke to Tom at about 11pm. Extremely helpful , professional and very quick to get my stuff up sorted. Had a confirmation of new booking before the call was finished. Very impressed. I wish we had this customer service in Australia.

Cheaper than direct for me... but highlight additional charges UPFRONT.

Overall good, but 1 star dropped as although The overall price was cheaper than going direct to Stena, I'm always irritated when sites add "processing charges" at the end after you've entered all your details, and which were never mentioned previously... and for a visa delta transaction too.

San Nicola to Rodi Garganico Ferry

The San Nicola Rodi Garganico ferry route connects Tremiti Islands with Italy. Currently there is just the 1 ferry company operating this ferry service, Gruppo Armatori Garganici. The crossing operates up to 7 times each week with sailing durations from around 1 hour 30 minutes.

San Nicola Rodi Garganico sailing durations and frequency may vary from season to season so we’d advise doing a live check to get the most up to date information.

San Nicola Guide

The island of San Nicolas is located in the Isole Tremiti Archipelago in the Adriatic Sea, and lies just to the north of the Gargano Peninsular. The archipelago is made up of 5 islands: San Domino, St. Nicholas, Cretaccio, Capraia and Pianosa, and collectively, the islands form a commune of Italy's Province of Foggia and form part of the Gargano National Park. The island has been inhabited since the Iron Age (4th - 3rd centuries BC) and the Tremiti islands have been a place of confinement since ancient times. Roman emperor Augustus had his granddaughter Julia the Younger transferred here, where she died after 20 years. The island chain was ruled by the Abbey of Santa Maria a Mare at San Nicolas island during the Middle Ages. The Abbey was supposedly founded in the 9th century by Benedictine Monks from Montecassino. The islands were also used for the detention of political prisoners during the Fascist regime of Mussolini. Today, the islands are an important tourist destination because of their crystal clear warm waters. San Nicola is where most of the population live and is the site of a monastery where a monk named Nicolò was buried. Legend has it that every time someone tried to move his corpse off the island, a violent storm would break out, preventing navigation around the island.

Rodi Garganico Guide

Rodi Garganico is a town in the province of Foggia, Apulia, south-eastern Italy. It is located in the Garfano National Park and is known as the holiday centre of Garganico.

The town has a long history and has been inhabited since prehistoric times. However, there are mixed views on the origins of Rodi. According to 19th century historian Michelangelo Manicone, Rodi’s origins are connected to the Dauni ancient people, while others suggest is was the Greek colonists from Rhodes who founded the town.

With a mild climate, picturesque landscape and clean clear sea, Rodi Garganico is now a popular seaside resort, offering several long sandy beaches on both the north and south sides of the town suitable for adults and children.
