Orzola Guide

Found on the northern coast of the popular holiday destination of Lanzarote, Orzola is a small village located in the municipality of Haria. The only ferry routes departing the port are to La Graciosa, typically lasting around 25 minutes and are supplied by two ferry companies.

What is there to do in Orzola?

Inundated with mature holidaymakers looking for a relaxing time in peaceful surroundings, Orzola is the quintessential sleepy tourist resort. Previously a fishing village, much of the income derives from the village’s maritime history; the restaurants serve delicious seafood fresh from the water, which guests can enjoy whilst looking out over the harbour. Before heading to the restaurants, the beaches are perfect for whiling away a few hours in the sun, especially during the summer months.

For a slightly more adventurous day out, boat tours are available around the waters, offering spectacular views of the landscape whilst basking in the glorious weather. Other than that, Orzola doesn’t have too much more to offer, so most visitors tend to only stay for a day or two before heading to busier resorts in the Canary Islands.

How do visitors get around Orzola?

The village is small enough to be covered entirely by foot, which is the choice of many who like a leisurely stroll around the picturesque landscape.
