Hull ferry routes range in length from 11 hours to Rotterdam and 13 hours 15 minutes to Zeebrugge. Getting to the port is simple. Hull docks are just a few minutes’ drive away from the city centre but don’t worry if you aren’t driving as there are a number of buses and coaches connecting the two. These buses also go to the city’s main train station if you are coming from elsewhere to embark on your ferry journey.

The city was named as the UK City of Culture in 2017 after major redevelopments to Hull ferry port, waterfront and Old Town. Many abandoned and derelict buildings have becomes spaces for artists and performers. Arguably the main landmark is the impressive Humber Bridge, a suspension bridge that was once the largest of its kind in the world.

    From the north & west follow either the M62 or A1079 to the A63 & Hull City Centre. Follow the signs to King George Dock & Ferries. From the south follow the A15 across the Humber Bridge & then turn east along the A63 to Hull City Centre. Follow the signs to King George Dock & Ferries.

  • Hull Ferry Port by train

    Hull Paragon Railway Station is connected to towns and cities around the country by the UK Rail network. From Hull Paragon Railway Station to the terminal at King George Dock there is a bus that departs at 17:15 hours.
