"trip thru the Mediterranian"
The overall trip was great. The only problem was to find Sintemar in Livorno Harbor as there are no signs about it and what is written on the web page of Grimaldi Lines is on the one hand not clear, on the other it is not true. Why can't they just insert a map showing the exact location? I tried with google but even there I was not able to find it. I was cruising around the port and it took me more than 40 minutes to find the place where I was supposed to get my tickets, and honestly it was only by accident. The other thing is Sintemar itself. There are two offices open only and when I arrived, well before the departure of the ship, there were at least a hundred passengers - not queueing but whirling in front of them. And not in an European way. It was a truely a shocking experience. It should have been organized in a more efficient way - take note of airport check ins... The trip was smooth, all the members of the crew were kind and polite, so I would recommend this way of travelling to Barcelona for those who wanna take their cars as well.

boarding process and passports control too slow at Tangeri port. I had to wait in the garage for 1 hour. But good services on board

"dreadful"
There are not ways to treat people. People lying through the ferry like cats sleeping anywhere. It seems to me an expensive price for the type of trip that is offered ...

"Ikarus Palace"
We had a very unpleasant experience on the Ikarus Palace. The ship had come from Tangiers before Barcelona and it was apparent as soon as we got on board that the ship had not been cleaned. Simple things like tables being wiped, bins being emptied and general tidiness. THere was very little choice in the restaurant and I would say the food was of a very low standard. We had reserved seats in the lounge area but I was so appalled by the smell and condition of the seats that we took a cabin. A lot of the seats were missing, those that were not were filthy and covered in stains. There was no air-conditioning, even though they said there was and it was 38 degrees. When i washed my hands on the toilets the drain was obviously damaged and drained onto my feet and there was vomit on one of the decks which had not been cleared up. Having said all of this our cabin was clean and tidy and the air conditioning did work. It was a very expensive trip for such poor service and low levels of cleanliness .

"Livorno Port"
The ship and the crossing correct, but at the port in Livorno there were not indications at all of how get to Grimaldi boarding point, after an hour and a half going in circle from one side to another and thanks to a taxi driver, we located where the ferry was, but inexplicably the Grimaldi staff informs us that we would have got the tickets at the offices, which are in Livorno, but thank you to a efficient telephone management allows us to board the ferry, a nightmare that I would not recommend ......... I hope that the company take actions to avoid this issue in which we and at least 15/20 passengers more were involved looking where we have to board

"An incredible mess to find the point to board"
Impossible to know from where the ferry depart, no indications at all, either on the tickets or on the road ... in Livorno there is more than one port and are separated by large distances. I had to go first to a port for chek-in and then travel by car about 2 kms away to go on board, something really absurd. Other than that, The cabin was great and very clean with shower and everything.

"A crossing between Tanger and Barcelona"
The journey was excellent as it is every year. The suites are extremely confortable and clean. The restaurant is getting better. The only problem is the disembarkment in Barcelona where we have to wait for one hour after vacating the cabin and where people are pushing each other in front of the lift.

"APPRECIATION OF THE CROSSING"
I hadn't taken GRIMALDI for a long time, we used to make the crossing once a year before. We were pleasantly surprised: the boat looked nice compared to the ferries from some other companies, but mostly it was very clean. There are members of staff with a broom and a dustpan, the corridors are not cluttered. The casino is open, so you can have a bit of fun. The lady in charge of the place is very kind. The timekeeping was good as well. Plus we were not evicted from our cabins 3 or 4 hours before arrival like in other places. We'll use surely Grimaldi again next time. Thank you.

"A good crossing"
A problem free crossing. A very nice cabin. The staff was available. The mosque was easily accessible (it would be better if there was a compass to find the direction of Mecca). It would be good also to be able to follow the crossing itinerary on a screen.

"Loading and unloading of vehicles"
Why don't you load large vehicles first (trucks or campervans), so they face the right direction to disembark. It's very difficult to move backwards with a vehicle that large on a the stern
