    Straightforward journey, no issues. The only potential problem is finding the actual loading dock, signs are small and infrequent and the Fred Olsen entrance could have better signage.

    You have to be at the port from 0.5 to 1h before departure. The booking with Direct Ferries you have to pick upi your tickets at the port. The ticket office is not always at the port.

  • "It could have been better"

    The ferry was on time and comfortable. However, the Wi-Fi service wasn't available. I took the ferry 6 times in 15 days and on all occasions I couldn't use this service. I asked explanations, but nobody seem to be able to explain why this service was unavailable. The seats cover are old, dirty and stained; they should be cleaned. The trip itself was ok, fast and on time even though it was expensive.

    I didn't have dinner or drinks on board that why I rated 3 stars because I can't judge. That said everything went well. I was travelling with my car that left the garage without a scratch. We departed and arrived about 30 minutes late, but these are things that can happen when you cross an ocean. The staff is not just kind, is extraordinary and I'll explain why. I forgot to print my plane tickets and check-in online. I asked the crew the courtesy to print my tickets and ... no problem. Through the wifi onboard, I sent them an email by attaching the file with my tickets and they printed without asking a penny. it was Sunday and I didn't know where to go to print the tickets! In short, my experience is clear: very well :-)
