Superspeed 1 was the first fast ferry purchased by Color Line in 2008 to push their ferry service into the modern era. Superspeed 1 was built with the purpose to have a high enough speed to eliminate overnight crossings and add more frequent departures. The spacious Superspeed 1 has a passenger capacity of 1929 and holds up to 764 vehicles

Onboard Cabins / Reserved Seating

There are no cabins onboard this vessel however there are two different classes of seating to choose from. There are 93 Business Class lounge seats available and 261 in the Voyage Class lounge. A screen is with free TV and internet access fitted to the back of each chair.

Onboard Food and Drink

There are several different restaurants to choose from onboard Superspeed 1 from the 365 seater Catch Me If You Can buffet restaurant located on deck 8 serving Nordic food, childrens buffet, soft drinks, beer, wine and coffee, to the more relaxed café and coffee bar.

Onboard Shopping

Onboard stores include a Color shop, a fashion shop, perfume and cosmetics, a duty free shop and a deli. The duty free shop, including Color shop, is located on deck seven where you can pick up such items such as wine, beer and jewellery for cheaper than high st stores.

  • "Easy, relaxing , pure ... just Norway."

    I travel several times each year to Scandinavia and I always take the ferry. In an emergency, I would also swim ... ;-)Taking a ferry is of course the simpler, more relaxed and the better choice! I enjoy every crossing. Again and again... Thank you. Imre
