Bergen Ferry Port

The port of Bergen on the west coast of Norway is popular with both ferry and cruise passengers.

Ferry services currently connect Bergen with Denmark and have in the past been available to the UK and the Faroe Islands. These route could well be revived in the future, subject to demand.

Fjord Line's terminal in Bergen is located beside the Hurtigruten terminal on Nøstegaten and is a short walk from the centre of Bergen.

How To Get To Bergen Ferry Port

  • Bergen Ferry Port by Car

    The fastest route between Bergen and Oslo by car is the route ‘RV7: Oslo, Gol and Eidfjord to Bergen’. Alternative you can take the E16 and go through the Lærdalstunnel – the world’s longest tunnel. From Oslo go to Hønefoss, then Leira, Fagerness, Lærdalsøyri, Aurland, through the Lærdalstunnel to Gudvangen and then to Bergen. Once in Bergen, follow the signs for the port.
