Barcelona Ferry Port

Barcelona ferry port has a 2000 year history and today is still one of the biggest European ports.

It serves as gateway to the Balearic Islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera with numerous ferry company's involved in making the connections, offering numerous departures per day.

You can also travel to the Mediterranean island of Sardinia from Barcelona as well as Morocco, with departures to Tangier Med.

The most famous touristic places (Park Güell, Las Ramblas, The Sagrada Familia) are really close to the port both on foot and by public transportation.

How To Get To Barcelona Ferry Port

  • Barcelona Ferry Port by Car

    Barcelona Ferry port is located in the city centre near las Ramblas and the Paralelo.

  • Barcelona Ferry Port by Train

    The nearest metro stop is in Drassanes (green line L3), which is approximately a 20 minute walk from the ferry port near the Christopher Columbus monument along the Ramblas. You may need to get a port shuttle bus to the monument, depending on which terminal you arrive at.

  • Barcelona Ferry Port by Bus

    The Z.A.L bus service (bright blue buses) runs every 20 minutes from the main port terminals to the Christopher Columbus monument, allowing for easy access to the metro.
