The most modern ferry in the Anek Lines fleet being built in 2001 is the high speed Hellenic Spirit averaging a speed of 32 knots. Hellenic Spirit can hold up to 1850 passengers and can hold 670 cars in its garages. Onboard facilities are not in short supply and are of a quality you would expect on a modern ferry of this kind. There is an a la carte restaurant, open deck swimming pool, nightclub, boutique, night club and couple of bars as well as many other facilities to keep you entertained (or relaxed if you prefer) on your trip.

Onboard Cabins / Reserved Seating

There are 2, 3 and 4 berth cabins available onboard ranging from your most basic of cabin but yet still perfectly comfortable to the most luxury of cabins. If you don’t feel a cabin is for you then there are 325 aircraft type seats available to pre-book. Additionally to this Hellenic Spirit has a deck dedicated to onboard camping for those who specifically wish to stay in their caravan during the crossing (this option must be pre-booked).

Onboard Food and Drink

Hellenic Spirit a la carte restaurant was awarded a Greek cuisine assurance certificate and due to its freshly made food and extensive wine menu you will not leave disappointed. There is also a self-service restaurant with all food on display for you to choose at your will. If you’re not in the mood for a big meal and would prefer to relax with a drink looking out on the ocean then there are two perfectly suitable bars to choose from.

Additional Onboard Facilities

Wi-Fi internet access is available onboard throughout the ship, there is also an internet café where you can go to relax and surf the web. An ATM machine is available for anyone who needs to withdraw cash.

    The ferry was more like a luxurious cruise ship....clean, quiet, comfortable, and no shortage of friendly, helpful and competent crew. Food and eating options were just fantastic as were the catering facilities. Of my many ferry trips, this was easily the best service I have been on.

  • "outbound Ancona-Corfu perfect, nightmare return"

    all good on the outbound Ancona-Corfu, departure on time and clean ship. On the return the departure time was at 10.30 but it was at half past midnight. The ship was full of people sleeping everywhere. Thanks God we had the cabin but we had to leave it 2 hours before the departure. nightmare

  • "no thanks!"

    the worst ferry I ever used. With deck space you can't go at the bar. Too many people on board sleeping on the floor everywhere like animals. Completely dirty and no one cares about cleaning. Coffee+croissant 7€, too expensive. 2 hours late the departure. I already travelled by ferry and it never happened something like that. Anek? no thanks.

  • "Patras - Ancona trip with Anek line"

    I traveled with my 3 daughters from Patras to Ancona and it was a great experience. The girls enjoyed swimming in the pool and sleeping on the floor for a special adventure. We planed to sleep outside and even tried it, but it was too windy so we had to move inside. We slept on the floor and managaged to get some sleep till 6.15 when we all had to get up so that passanger could all normal pass there. It would be better if we organized us differently and prepared everything for sleeping on the covered part of the upper deck. The pafilities were very clean and the sruff was great! In total, it was a great trip and we would do it againg.

  • "We were quite satisfied"

    The ferry had a little delay, but the boarding was OK. You get at midnight even small snacks and drinks. Unfortunately, the actual eatery at lunchtime was open only relatively short. We had a very nice interior cabin with toilet and shower.
